The Dress, the Cake, and the Muffin Sandwiches
A few spring wins (plus: why I’m never skipping NAD+ again)
Hello Style Pantry friends,
It’s that time of year when everything feels fresh—gardens, dresses, even breakfast. I’ve been spending more time outside (playing tennis—of course), sewing a bit, baking a lot, and honestly... just trying to feel like myself again. My body’s been so sore this week (more on that below), but in between the stiffness, I managed to make a few things that brought me joy—and I hope they’ll spark something for you too.
Let’s start with the navy linen dress I made this week. I always get the urge to sew before a trip—Easter weekend is coming up, and dresses are everywhere. I’m not a frilly, puff-sleeve kind of person (though it seems like everyone else is, based on all the storefront windows right now). I wanted something simple but still elegant, with a deep v and high side slits for a bit of edge. It came together in a way that feels very me—and that’s always the best feeling, right?
